The G-11 telescope mount by Losmandy is a rock solid mount. It does need to be lubricated every two years. The below procedure was described to me by Scott Losmandy.
Undo the clutch, and carefully remove the axises.
WD40 might need to be sprayed on the needle bearings if they are not moving properly.
Use alcohol to clean the bearings, shaft and clutch pad.
Use a grease that contains teflon to lubricate the bearings that have just been cleaned. Also put grease on the threads of the clutch knobs.
Put everything back together.
