The mission of the Native Species Institute is to advocate for the preservation and maintenance of natural bio-diversity, and to educate citizens about the respective consequences inherent in development decisions.

For Colorado this means the identification and celebration of that which is unique, native, and diverse, in the many environments of Colorado.
